Mary Has a Little Farm
Mary Has a Little Farm is a project at Mary Help of Christians Center that offers children and families the opportunity of being in touch with nature and farm animals while being located in the heart of Tampa.
The Farm offers children and adults a chance to engage and experience God’s creation in a setting of peace, love, and tranquility. Through the wonders of nature and awe of the little farm animals, guests young and old enjoy the beauty that abounds at Mary Has a Little Farm.
Education is at the heart of the mission of Mary Has a Little Farm. All schools, including private schools and homeschool groups, are welcome. The Farm is a Hillsborough County Public Schools approved vendor. Our goal is to introduce students to the barnyard and farm animals, providing learning opportunities as they go along. Students are encouraged to interact with the animals while learning to respect and be kind and gentle while indulging in their curiosities and having fun.
Mary Has a Little Farm dedicates June and July to Camp Mary Help and is a favorite place for many campers. Campers get to learn more about the animals, their daily care, and for some, a chance to experience a special week of Horse camp.
The Barn as an events venue has numerous possibilities. Hosts can invite their guests to enjoy the charm and beauty of the Farm while mingling with the farm animals. There is nothing more perfect than a Barn party with a bonfire and a hayride, an afternoon kids’ birthday party, an “out of office” business meeting, a ladies wine night, or men’s BBQ. It is the ideal venue for a relaxed and memorable event from sunlight to moonlight.
